I’m taking some time to archive DEY in The Press, since I haven’t had a chance to include them in the site redesign. This first piece is my wedding from September 2012 that was covered in The Knot. I quit my full time job as a PR Account Exec to plan, design and execute my big day. I DIY’ed the favor boxes, table numbers, menu cards and holders, pearl centerpieces, (not pictured) embossed ceremony agenda and birdcage card/gift holder.
Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve seen the write ups about each photo. I’ve included them below in case you want to read more.
Enjoy and feel free to reach out with any tips, post ideas or links to How-To’s and more info re: items in the photos!
In the future, click on the Press tab in the menu bar to see all of the coverage with links. I hope to have it all updated by mid-March.

*As published in The Knot: Tina and Johnnie’s wedding was the perfect balance between classic and modern. The couple mixed a cool metallic color palette, updated textures and elegant linens with lavish floral arrangements for a gorgeous, sophisticated effect.
Lavish high floral arrangements with pastel blooms and pearl cone centerpieces decorated the luxurious reception tables, adding warmth to the cool silver palette of the linens and place settings.
The couple gave their reception tables an instant style upgrade with textured, silvery china, an elegant patterned table cloth and linens in complementary metallic hues. Gilded frame escort cards and gold-accented wine glasses picked up on the champagne colored thread in the table cloth.
The couple held their traditional ceremony at Old St. Mary’s Cathedral, which comfortably accommodated their more than two-hundred guests.
A formal floral agenda with pearl accents outlined the day’s festivities and were tucked into the linens at each place setting.
